Now that we have Mom's old food processor, I got the idea to make scalloped potatoes. Homemade versions I've had in the past always had too thick potatoes and too runny a sauce. I knew the food processor would cut thinly, so I Googled a good recipe, added some extra seasoning and sliced onion, and cooked it up. We were pleasantly surprised with how good these were, and I will definitely be making them again. So tasty. Also, it took longer to clean the food processor than it did to slice the potatoes. So cool.

    1. They really are great, right? I only knew the joy of the store bought ones, but homemade is pretty great! :)

    2. I do bakes like this weekly. Similar to anyway. Yesterday I did a egg and potato bake. Super fluffy and good. Love this time of year.

    3. I am loving this time of year too. I am really digging this fall. I always love it, but this year has had a lot of fun foods, drinks, and great weather.

Egg and potato bake sounds yummy. I have 50 lbs of potatoes so I will probably doing something like this once a week too. :)

    4. I didn't get 50 but I got some from a local
organic farmer and they are soooo good.

Yes, this fall has been amazing outside.
I mean, we did have one good snow day,
      but even that was fun.

Ate pumpkin ice cream last night, and
then earlier in the day, a pumpkin
doughnut. The ice cream was better.
Only after a few bites, it didn't taste
      of anything anymore. Weird.

    5. Love that you are getting lots of pumpkin goodies in. Too bad the taste didn't last...

    6. Yeah, that was weird. Have you tried the Tim Horton's Marshmallow yoghurt yet?
